GentleWavePress offers high-end yacht charter services, which include but are not restricted to:
- Daily yacht rentals
- Sunset cruises
- Corporate retreats
- Private events
- Multi-day charters
All offerings are subject to availability and weather conditions. We hold the right to alter or discontinue services at our discretion.
3. Booking and Reservations
3.1 Booking Process
To arrange a charter, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Provide accurate and complete details
- Make the required deposit payment as indicated in your booking confirmation
- Consent to these Terms & Conditions
3.2 Confirmation
Your reservation is only confirmed after we receive payment and provide you with written confirmation. Service may be declined at our discretion.
3.3 Availability
Charters depend on the accessibility of vessels and suitable weather conditions. We will endeavor to accommodate your requested dates and times.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Pricing
All quoted prices are in € and include any applicable taxes unless otherwise specified. Prices may change without previous notice.
4.2 Payment Schedule
- Deposit: 50% of the full charter cost due at the time of booking
- Balance: Due 48 hours prior to the departure of the charter
- Additional charges (if applicable): Due after the charter has concluded
4.3 Payment Methods
We accept various forms of payment including major credit cards, bank wire transfers, and certified cheques. Payments are processed through secured, encrypted platforms.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
5.1 Customer Cancellations
- More than 72 hours before departure: Full reimbursement minus processing charges
- 24-72 hours before departure: Half refund
- Less than 24 hours before departure: No refund
5.2 Weather Cancellations
Should the captain deem weather conditions unsafe, we will propose to:
- Reschedule the charter to another suitable date without additional charge
- Issue a full refund if rescheduling is not viable
5.3 Mechanical Issues
If your designated vessel encounters mechanical issues, we will seek to offer an appropriate alternative. If no alternative is feasible, we will issue a complete refund.
6. Safety and Conduct
6.1 Safety Requirements
All passengers are required to:
- Heed all instructions given by the crew
- Utilize safety gear when needed
- Disclose any medical conditions that could impact their safety
- Stay within designated areas aboard the vessel
6.2 Prohibited Items
Items not allowed onboard include:
- Glass containers
- Illegal substances
- Firearms or weapons
- Non-alcoholic beverages beyond moderate consumption
- Pets (except if pre-authorized)
6.3 Conduct
Passengers should act in a mannerly fashion. A charter may be terminated early with no refund if passenger behavior constitutes a safety threat or disturbs other guests.
7. Liability and Insurance
7.1 Our Liability
Our liability is confined to the total paid for your charter. We are not accountable for:
- Injury resulting from your own carelessness
- Loss or damage to personal items
- Indirect, resulting, or penalizing damages
- Delays induced by weather or beyond our control
7.2 Insurance Coverage
We possess comprehensive marine insurance for our vessels and operations. It's your responsibility to have individual travel and personal insurance coverage.
7.3 Assumption of Risk
Partaking in our charter services signifies acknowledgment that marine activities carry inherent dangers and you assume accountability for your safety and welfare.
8. Modifications and Itinerary Changes
Itinerary modifications may occur due to weather, safety, or operational needs. We will strive to offer comparable alternatives where necessary.
9. Force Majeure
Events not within our control, such as severe weather, disasters, regulatory changes, harbor closures, or mechanical failures, release us from being accountable for delays, cancellations, or changes.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
Your private information is processed according to our Privacy Policy. Utilizing our services indicates consent to the collection and use of your data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
11. Intellectual Property
